O! LORD! Take my life and let it be consecrated to thee Take my love and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee Take my heart and let it be filled with overflowing love for Thee Take my hands and let them work incessantly for Thee Take my soul and let it be merged in one with Thee Take my body and let it be in devotion dedicated to Thee Take my everything and let me be an instrument to work The best
method to spread Vedanta Philosophy is to live it; there is no other royal
road. Happy is he
who is drowned in heavenly intoxication. Blessed is he who is dead drunk
in divine Madness. Worshipful is he who is absorbed in deep Atmanand and
Supreme Bliss being lost to the world. The moments
of realisation are those when all thoughts of worldly relations, worldly
connections, worldly ties, worldly property, worldly desires, worldly
needs are all melted into GOD, into Truth. By your
discretion convert all stumbling blocks of the world into stepping stones
to realisation. The energy
we waste in judging others is just what is needed to make us live up to
our own ideals. You cannot be a slave of the flesh and at the same time be
the master of the Universe. Assert your
GOD head. Fling into utter oblivion the little self, as if it had never
existed. When the bubble bursts, it finds itself the whole ocean. You are
the whole, the Infinite, the All. All one’s
actions must be done with the sole purpose to please God.
One’s innate tendencies depend on the feelings cultivated in one’s
heart. The heart may be
compared to a paper. A paper has no smell of it own. It acquires the smell
of the contents wrapped in it. If it is wrapped with jasmine flowers, it
acquires the smell of jasmine in it. If good feelings are packed in it,
you will certainly develop good tendencies. Any sadhana done with noble feelings will yield good result.
A heart with compassion is the temple of God. The
existence of different castes, communities and religions has nothing to do
with violence, unrest and conflicts in the present day scenarios.
It is only the absence of inner purity that is responsible for all
the chaos. If the thoughts are sacred they will certainly fructify.
One need not think that one does not have enough money or
resources. If one resolves to
do something good one is bound to succeed.
The power of noble thoughts will give one the necessary strength.
Love everyone and see yourself as a reflection of God with that
wonderful shining light all around you.
That is the way to God. How are
good feelings cultivated? The
ears should listen to sacred stories. The tongue should utter sacred words and the hands must be
used in the service of society. One
must be good, see good, and do good at all times. On should foster pure
and divine feelings and must consider everyone as divine.
One must be of firm conviction that God is always with you, in you
and around you. God’s
love for his devotees is limitless. No
task is mean or lowly for Him where his devotees are involved.
He will do what has to be done at any time, any place.
Protection and welfare of his devotees is His priority number one.
God offers Himself to His devotees in exactly the same manner in which
devotees offer themselves to Him. Remember
only God is your true friend. Spirituality
starts with faith. Man
aspires for Bliss. But how
can he attain Bliss? Where there
is faith there is love Where there
is love there is peace Where there
is peace there is truth Where there
is truth there is God Where there
is God there is Bliss The
path of spirituality starts with faith and ends with Bliss.
There is no easier path to peace and bliss other than controlling
one’s own senses. Liberation can only be attained by serving noble souls. |
